Renee Goldberg,

Renee Goldberg, Ed.D., C.E.P., has spent more than 25 years in the
field of education, and brings her skills, knowledge and compassion
to educational
consulting. She began her career as a public school teacher, and moved
on to being a member of the faculty and staff at Clark University,
the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and the University of
Massachusetts-Boston.
She has consulted to a number of academic institutions including: Harvard
University, Boston College, Bates College and Wheaton College. At Clark,
she established and created support services for students with learning
disabilities, one of the first of its kind at a select university.
In addition, Dr. Goldberg has lectured throughout the country on services
for students with learning disabilities and AD/HD.
Dr. Goldberg founded
Educational Options, LLC in 1994, with a special interest in students
with learning disabilities and students with AD/HD.
She is also an expert in educational assessment and remediation. She
travels extensively visiting colleges, boarding schools and emotional
growth programs in order to become more aware of changes and developments
and in order to provide better service to her clients.
Dr. Goldberg
received her bachelor’s degree from the University
of Pennsylvania and her doctorate from Clark University. Dr. Goldberg
is a Certified Educational Planner (CEP) and a member of the Independent
Educational Consultants Association (IECA). She is also the chair
of the Special Needs Committee. She is also
an Affiliate Member of The National Association of Therapeutic Schools
and Programs (NATSAP).
Marvin Goldberg, MSW

Marvin
began his professional career working with teens in a variety of
settings. His areas of interest at Educational Options, LLC range
from working with troubled teens, to student athletes, as well as
providing
college and university selection. He has the ability to bring student
and parent together to discuss the future and move forward. He joined
the practice after a successful senior management career in the not-for-profit
world. Marvin brings a combination of skill, patience and sense of
humor to the field of educational consulting. He is an excellent
public speaker
and presenter, and he works with students to improve their skills
and reach their goals.
Marvin has been involved in Educational Options,
LLC part-time for many years and joined the practice full-time
in 2002. He also travels
extensively
visiting colleges, boarding schools and emotional growth programs
in order to have the most up to date information to share with clients.
Marvin received his bachelor's degree from Ohio University and a master's
degree in social work from the University of Pennsylvania.
He is a
professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants
Association (IECA)
and a member of the Small Boarding Schools Association. Marvin is an Affiliate
Member of The National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs
(NATSAP).
